Few times there are efforts made by our government which are highly appreciable and needed as well. Same way, one effort is made by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee which is really commendable as they have demanded to exempt Entertainment Tax from recent released film ‘Ardaas Karaan’ directed by Gippy Grewal.
They believe that the kind of subject this film carries is very realistic and teach us to live above any religion. Manjinder Singh Sirsa who is the president of Delhi Sikh Gurdawara Committee have sent a request to the Minister of Information and Broadcast who is Shri Parkash Javadekar. Talking about the film, it is very touchy and presented in a great manner. It makes the viewers positive in a way.
They have said that this film is not a commercial movie. It should be exempted from Entertainment Tax. We all hope that this kind of film will get green signal and people will watch it and learn something. Ardaas Karaan is a sequel to Ardaas which released in 2016. Humble Motion Pictures presented this film is directed by Gippy Grewal.
Many of the popular artists are in the film who have done a great job like Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Jung Bahadur, Sardar Sohi, Japji Khaira, Sapna Pabbi, Yograj Singh and many more. Now we all have a look on the decision of the Minister of Information and Broadcast. Appreciable step taken by Delhi Sikh Gurdawara Committee.
