Tarsem Jassar and Simmi Chahal will play leads in this film
Chandigarh( Aapna Pollywood )11 February 2019. Making the sequel of any blockbuster h as been a tried and tested
formula to guarantee a hit. But as the trend continues mostly sequels of the films are two different
concepts with different stories. But this time to break this league, to start from where it ended,
Tarsem Jassar and Simmi Chahal’s 2018’s hit ‘Rabb Da Radio’ is ready with its sequel ‘Rabb Da Radio
2’.
Along with lead pair, ‘Rabb Da Radio 2’ will star BN Sharma, Avtar Gill, Nirmal Rishi, Jagjeet Sandhu,
Harby Sangha, Gurpreet Bhangu, Shivandra Mahal, Sunita Dhir, Tania, and Baljinder Kaur will play
pivotal roles. Manpreet Johal in association with Ashu Munish Sahni has produced the film under
Vehli Janta films and Omjee group banner respectively. This film is directed by Sharan Art. Jass Grewal
has written the story of the film. The music of the film will be released under Vehli Janta Records
label.
The teaser of the film has released recently on the Vehli Janta Records official YouTube channel. The
story will start from where it had ended in Rabb Da Radio. This time it will revolve around the
relations after Manjinder and Guddi’s marriage.
The Lead of film, Tarsem Jassar said, “Rabb Da Radio is very close to my heart. It introduced me as an
actor. And we are blessed with the response from the audience. So, for Rabb Da Radio 2 we have
tried our best so that we can live up to the expectations of audiences. I just hope people will love my
work as always.”
The Leading lady of ‘Rabb Da Radio 2’, Simmi Chahal said, “Guddi is one character which has not only
helped evolve me as an actor but as a person also. So, I am excited to play it again. This time she is
more mature but retaining her same old innocence. I just hope Rabb Da Radio 2 will also be able to
mark its place in everyone’s heart.”
“We always try to promote good content. Producing the sequel of a classic film like Rabb Da Radio is
very risky, but as always we are confident about our product and concept. Now, we just wish
audiences will accept this with open arms”, Producers of the film, Manpreet Johal and Ashu Munish
Sahni said.
Worldwide distribution of the film is done by Munish Sahni’s Omjee Group. Rabb Da Radio 2 will
release on 29th March 2019.
